Welcome to the department of Mathematics at Livingstone College. The Department works closely with the Education department and offers degree programs in Mathematics and Mathematics Education. We also offer a minor in Mathematics. The Department of Mathematics is committed to serving all students through developing and enhancing analytical and computational skills, preparing future mathematicians for STEM careers, and preparing math educators.
With several full-time faculty and staff members, the Department of Mathematics is proud to have faculty with a wide range of research interests in fields of pure mathematics such as analysis, as well as in fields of applied mathematics such as computational mathematics, mathematical physics, partial differential equations, and statistics.
