You can access the status of your admission application through your JICS student’s portal. Your log in will be your ID number and password created using the link sent to you via email from the IT department. You will be able to locate your status after clicking the admissions tab on the home screen of the portal.

The Admissions Process
Applicants should take proper steps to ensure that their credentials are sent to the Office of Admissions as early as possible, preferably not less than thirty (30) days before the beginning of the semester in which they plan to enroll. Applicants may apply to enter the College at the beginning of the fall or spring semester. Admissions personnel carefully review the academic qualifications of each applicant to admit students who have the potential for further academic achievement and growth.

2 – Apply

3 – Transcripts & Test Scores
We require that students submit official copies of their transcripts from High School, and any previous Colleges/Universities Attended. We also request copies of your ACT/SAT Test Scores. Click Here for Test Scores & Transcripts

FAQs
The admission application fee is $25. This fee has been waived until further notice.
Your admission decision will be provided to you via a hard copy letter to the address provided on your application, and you will also receive an email.
You are welcome to visit the Office of Admissions on Livingstone College campus to speak with a representative Monday-Friday 8 am – 5 pm.
Once you have been approved for admission and received your decision letter, you will be provided with “next step” communication. This will provide you with registration dates for the upcoming academic semester. Once you have completed registration, you can reference the academic calendar for the first day of classes.
You are not able to register without being admitted into the College.
Your outstanding balance will not prohibit you from applying for readmission, but you will not be able to complete registration or start class before paying your balance with the business office.
The academic appeal committee provides each student placed on suspension with the duration of the suspension according to the infraction. Once approved by academic affairs, the student will be provided with next steps from the Office of Student Success.
